The good: Terrific flavors presented creatively in a pleasant setting. High quality ingredients. Coffee is delicious and local served in individual French presses.
The bad: Service is slow (but super friendly), portions are small for the price, and the menu is cryptic. It’s difficult to understand what you are actually ordering.
Also, the portions as is should be labeled small plates or 1/2 entrees. They need to double the portion size and charge more for a full entree. I orders the Opaka salad and was surprised that it came with raw kale and raw chard. The fish was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and moist flesh. The presentation on a board was delightful. My dining companions ordered the beef papaya salad. The beef was cooked a perfect medium rare, and it was served with shredded carrots and papaya atop a bed of roasted Mac nut purée. Amazing flavors.

The Mill House has been open 7 months with plans to expand into a full dining room within the next month or two. Hopefully, they will work out the service issues by then. I will come back in a few months to update.
